While I am not ashamed to admit that I watch Hannah Montana and Lizzy Maguire....I am a bit ashamed to admit I am in love, in love with TWILIGHT. My cousin Jesse and I stumbled upon seeing this movie for the sheer reason that there was nothing else playing today at 3:20 - btw, it was playing every hour on the hour. If I owned a movie theater I would make them play it every 20 minutes...that's how in love I am. I was full, tired and entirely disgruntled as I sat down in the theater. Why disgruntled you ask?? Well, OFFENSE #1 - the movie was in a theater the size of my living room with a screen the size of my TV. I was surpsised they didn't make Jesse hold the screen projector in his lap. OFFENSE #2 - because the movie is so popular, the theater was packed, a person in every seat, hence I had a stranger to my right. I don't like strangers. Despite these offenses, I soon let go of my bad attitude when the movie started.
The movie is admittedly meant for tweens/teens but clearly was a bit racy, deserving the PG-13 rating . Now let me say, I have NO ISSUES watching tween/teen movies...LOVE EM. However, I hate tween/teen movies in the sci-fi genre. Don't even get me started on Harry Potter. I got bored even typing the word "Potter." Trust me when I tell you that Twilight was different. Just in case the plot is unfamiliar (i.e. you haven't turned on a tv, opened yahoo, listened to the radio or read a magazine in the last two weeks), the movie/book is about a teenage girl who falls in love with a vampire. I normally don't like Kristen Stewart and her constant lip biting but she surprised me and did a decent job (I think she looks better as a brunette). Robert Pattinson on the other hand, was gorgeous and brilliant. With his feigned, awkward american accent, pale skin and mascara lined eyes he stole the show....I now understand why he almost got killed at that mall appearance. Peter Facinelli made a good show as well...missed that mofo (has he been in any decent movie since Can't Hardly Wait?).
Well, thanks to this movie which I undoubtedly will make all of my friends see again with me (watch out!), I have a BIG, yet exciting DAY TOMORROW. I plan on going to the book store at 10 am and buying Twilight and the other two available sequels and reading them all as fast as I can. I am also going to make every attempt to be an extra in the sequel movie. So, in close, don't bother calling or texting or emailing tomorrow and depending on how fast of a reader I am maybe not Tuesday either.

Love your Blog!!!!
Hi Julie!
Its Lianne! Love your blog. I love love love the twilight books. I actually read the 4 books before the movie came out so I was slightly disappointed but enjoyed nevertheless. Have you finished all 4 books yet? Once you do, let me know what you think of the final breaking dawn book (I love it). I think I am going to buy a Team Edward t-shirt for xmas.
